WatchMaestro is a luxury watch store in Dubai, UAE. They buy, sell and trade premium high-end watches from brands like Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille and more. WatchMaestro collaborated with us for its branding and setting up its website and online store.
On top of that, we implemented the best SEO strategies to boost their traffic by 4500% and made them rank on Google for the most searched keyword – “luxury watches Dubai.” We also took care of their other digital marketing needs, which included social media management, photography, videography and more.
Working with Watch Maestro was a great pleasure as it had a lot of features that needed some thorough research. The main features that posed a small challenge include a trade option, and a sell option. Both those options had some specific requirements but they both boiled down to having thousands of watches added in the database with all their proper information so the user can autofill their data by selecting a particular watch they want to sell or trade.
Collecting Data
To be able to have thousands of watches on the website, we had to use the internet to scrape all the data we need.
Cleaning Data
We then had to clean that data to make sure there is no false information in the watches, or even duplicate watches that our software picked up.
Importing Data
After all the cleaning, we had to write a custom tool to import all the watches into the website with some very specific requirements.
To be able to achieve this goal, we had to look for credible resources that have all the watch data that we need. This meant we had to retrieve 50,000+ watches, with all their dial, color, case, bezel, brand, model, reference information. To do that, we wrote a custom scraper tool that goes to the internet, gets us this information, and compiles it into chunks of files where we will later use in our custom importer tool. We ended up with 64 files each containing 1,800 watches to be cleaned and imported.
Few weeks later, we had all the watches, but we need to clean the data to be able to showcase them on the website. This is where we wrote another tool to import the watches and clean all the data that contained missing information or had a duplicate somewhere in the other files.
After importing all those watches, we simply had to write the logic on the website to fetch all this data, and showcase it to the end user.
With all the strategies we had carefully put in place, we were able to achieve great results from all fronts. We are proud of everything we have done when it comes to Watch Maestro, primarily the SEO where we were able to bring the traffic up organically from 0 to 5,000 unique users per month.
When it comes to search engine optimization, we have created some strategies that would allow Watch Maestro to reach a big number of organic traffic. With all those strategies set in place, we have reached places way above our expectations in a short amount of time. With a goal of 2,000 – 3,000 organic traffic in six months, we were able to start generating 5,000 organic traffic into the website by that time which actually translated to 10-15 healthy leads per day.
Since this is a business based in Dubai, we had to focus on the luxury part of things and see what kind of keywords people are searching for in this particular luxurious niche. Given all the research we were able to get some high competitive keywords up on the first page first position of Google within a couple months. Some of those keywords include:
